Account Creation: When you create a Meetra account, we collect information such as your username, password, email address, phone number, date of birth, and gender.
Profile Information: You may choose to provide additional information for your public profile, including photos, videos, a biography, your location, interests, educational background, relationship preferences, and other personal details. Some of this information may be considered sensitive (e.g., sexual orientation, religious beliefs). By providing sensitive information, you consent to our processing of it.

Analytics Partners: We use third-party analytics tools and SDKs to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Services. These tools collect information sent by your device or our Services, such as how often you visit, the events that occur within the app, and aggregated usage and performance data. This information is typically anonymized and used to improve our Services.

We do not sell your personal information. However, we may share your information in the following circumstances:
With Other Meetra Users: Your public profile information and any content you voluntarily share (e.g., posts, stories) will be visible to other users of the Services. Please be mindful of what you share, as we cannot control what others do with your information once it's public.
With Service Providers and Partners: We engage third-party companies and individuals to perform services on our behalf (e.g., data hosting, analytics, customer support, payment processing, marketing, security operations). These third parties have access to your information only to perform these tasks on our instruction and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. We maintain a rigorous vetting process for our service providers.

We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
With Your Consent: We may share your information with third parties when we have your explicit consent to do so.

Data Portability: You may have the right to receive a copy of certain personal information we hold about you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
Withdraw Consent: Where we rely on your consent to process your information, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Device Permissions: Mobile operating systems have permission systems for specific types of device data and notifications (e.g., location services, camera access, push notifications). You can manage your device permissions through your device's settings. Disabling certain permissions may affect the functionality of some Meetra features.
Uninstall: You can stop all information collection by the Meetra app by uninstalling it using your device's standard uninstall process.
To exercise any of these rights, or if you have questions about them, please contact us using the details provided in the "Contact Us" section. For your protection, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law. Please note that we may reject requests that are unlawful, infringe on trade secrets or intellectual property, or violate the privacy of others.
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our Services to you, to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, and as permitted or required by applicable law.
Typically, we delete or anonymize your information upon account deletion, subject to a safety retention window (e.g., 3-6 months) to allow for account recovery or to address security or legal issues. After this period, your account will no longer be visible on the Services.
We may retain certain information for longer periods if:
We are required to do so to comply with legal obligations (e.g., retaining "traffic data" for statutory periods).
It is necessary to evidence our compliance with applicable law (e.g., records of consent).
There is an unresolved issue, claim, or dispute requiring us to keep the relevant information until it is resolved.
The information is needed for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention, enhancing user safety and security (e.g., to prevent a banned user from creating a new account), or for statistical and product research purposes (in an anonymized or aggregated form).
Correspondence with our customer support team may be retained for a longer period to address any subsequent inquiries but will generally be deleted within a reasonable timeframe if no further queries arise.
We are committed to protecting your personal information. We implement a variety of technical, administrative, and physical security measures designed to safeguard your data from unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments.
However, please understand that no security system is impenetrable. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You play a crucial role in keeping your information safe by choosing a strong password, keeping it confidential, and being cautious about the information you share. If you believe your account or password has been compromised, please change it immediately and contact us.
We continuously monitor our systems for vulnerabilities and attacks and regularly review our security practices. In the event of a security breach that we suspect or detect, we may suspend your use of some or all of the Services without notice.
Meetra is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from someone under 18, we will take steps to delete that information and terminate the person's account as quickly as possible.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. We encourage users to report any profiles they suspect belong to individuals under 18 using the in-app reporting tools.
Meetra is committed to child safety and strictly prohibits any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines explicitly forbid such activities. We employ content moderation measures, including AI monitoring and manual reviews, to detect and prevent the spread of CSAE-related material. We cooperate with law enforcement agencies in cases of suspected CSAE and encourage users to report any suspicious activity.

By using Meetra, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, including the U.S., and to the processing of your information in those countries as described in this Privacy Policy. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure that your personal information remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws when it is transferred internationally.
